Norscot is a Highland based, family owned business which prides itself on being able to offer jobs for a lifetime to local people. In fact, some of our colleagues have been here for years!

What we do

For over 38 years’ we have been manufacturing superior quality Timber Frame Kit Homes; Timber, uPVC and AluWood made-to-measure windows, doors and conservatories from our state-of-the-art factory and showroom in Bower, Caithness.

We also own a purpose-built showroom, sales office and storage facility on the Carse Industrial Estate in Inverness.

We proudly supply products to domestic, retail and trade clients from the Shetland Islands, the Central Belt, Outer Hebrides and Aberdeenshire and everywhere in between!


Window and Door Fitters – Inverness and Bower

Due to our ever increasing workload, we are always looking to add highly motivated, experienced Joiners to join our existing teams in Inverness and Bower.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long established Highland family business that offers long term prospects, competitive rates of pay relating to current or previous industry experience

Applicants must be motivated, of smart appearance, reliable, possess good communication skills and be prepared to work in a team environment Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. Full driving license and own tools are essential.

We have a comprehensive benefits package, Bonus scheme, Workplace Pension Scheme, Work Uniform and our current annual leave is 29 days. Excellent staff discounts are also available.

Our contracted standard working hours are 40 hours per week, 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00am – 3.45pm on a Friday.

Painter – Inverness

We are looking for an experienced painter to join our team in Inverness.

This is a great opportunity for a friendly, skilled painter who enjoys working as part of a small team in a well-established, Highland based, family run business. You will possess excellent communication skills which will allow you to communicate effectively in a team environment.

You will be expected to use your skills and experience to ensure your work is completed to our usual high standards. Previous industry experience is essential along with a current CSCS card.
