NORSCOT CUSTOMER NOTICES – CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

Update 29th June 2020 – We are delighted to announce that Norscots showrooms are now open to the public, although this will be with restricted numbers and with social distancing measures in place. When planning a visit to our Bower or Inverness locations it is preferable that you book a space to minimize possible waiting time. At this moment in time client meetings are still not available in person, however, we are still offering this service virtually, so please get in contact to arrange either a telephone or virtual appointment with an advisor. For your safety, we have instigated a regular cleaning schedule of all touchable surfaces and hand sanitisers facilities are readily available.

Our Bower and Inverness showrooms will be open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 3.45pm on Fridays.

Update 26th June 2020 – Following the governments most recent update and the relaxing of lockdown regulations, we are delighted to announce that as of Monday the 29th of June our factory and showrooms will be reopening.

Although the showroom will be open to visitors it will be with restricted numbers and preferably by appointment. Update 23rd June 2020 – Following the latest government guidelines, we are happy to announce that some of our factory and office staff have returned to work, with safety precautions and social distancing in place. We hope that although we remain closed to the public, we will be able to resume manufacturing soon.

We are still on hand in the meantime to answer all of your calls and emails. You can also get in contact via our live website chat service or through our social media platforms. Don’t forget you can still carry out your free online quote from the comfort of your own home!

Update 17 April 2020 – We are open on line: Although our Factory, Showroom and Offices remain closed we can still offer FREE QUOTATIONS, Advice, Virtual appointments or to book an actual appointment for when we re-open.

In accordance with government guidelines and for the safety of our employees, customers & suppliers we have now closed with immediate effect.

NORSCOT COVID-19 BUSINESS STATEMENT

Norscots showrooms and factory are now to open to the public, and as always, the health and safety of our customers, employees and supply chain are paramount. All staff are practising social distancing and we have provided PPE in line with the latest advice from the government and health authorities. We would like to thank our team for their commitment and efforts throughout the crisis period and for adapting to the new normal within their working environments.

 

Staff health & safety

As a responsible employer, there are several measures we have taken to ensure the safety of our staff, customers and suppliers. We have issued an additional health and safety policy as well as new procedures and processes across all areas of the business.

Some of these areas include:

  • Additional hand sanitiser and cleaning points.
  • Increased cleaning materials for cleaning workspaces.
  • Instigated increased cleaning regime
  • Providing face coverings and full-face shields, as necessary.
  • Work areas have been adjusted to comply with social distancing including one way systems.
  • Posters and visuals to remind and promote safe working.
  • Regular communications to check in with staff and promote well-being.
  • Changes to delivery and collection procedures.

 

Meetings

Before lockdown, we cancelled all meetings across the business including with suppliers and customers, which remains in place, however, we are still offering this service virtually, so please get in contact to arrange either a telephone or virtual appointment with an advisor.

 

Updating our stakeholders

We have kept open and regular communication with our customers, staff and suppliers throughout the crisis. Now that we have reopened to the public and resumed manufacture, we will continue to keep everyone up to date as and when we implement new procedures throughout the business.
